PLEASE CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW - 18TH CENTURY FRENCH HUNTING HANGER WITH BLUE AND GILT BLADE IN FINE CONDITION- with 60cm broad slightly tapering blade with spear point tip and with raised medial ridge and decorated over nearly half it's length with blue and guilt with engraved hounds, boar and deer, geometric gilded panel at the hilt, a pair of white metal quillions and strip retaining two piece polished horn grips with three oval studs on both faces. Good condition, the blade entirely straight, some very light spotting and some rubbing to the bluing. One quillion slightly bent rearward. All in all a fine example view it's age. 76cm overall.
