FINE FRENCH DOUBLE BARREL 12MM LEFAUCHAUX SYSTEM TRAVELLING PISTOL

PLEASE CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW - FINE FRENCH DOUBLE BARREL 12MM LEFAUCHAUX SYSTEM TRAVELLING PISTOL - with 8.75cm tapering barrels with deep multi-groove rifling and marked 'ACIER FONDU' on the top sighting flat, foliate engraved box-lock actions, the forend with fine deeply engraved cross-hatching, the trigger guard en-suite, rotary underleaver opening device, fluted ebony grip and faceted pommel with sperical end terminal.  In fine condition retaining most of it's plated and original blue, the actions functioning perfectly, solid lock up, the rifling unbroken and very bright, the woodwork showing light signs of use and overal a very good example.  20cm overall. Circa 1865.
