RUSSIAN MODEL 1844 PATTERN MUSKETT, DATED 1843

PLEASE CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW - RUSSIAN MODEL 1844 PATTERN MUSKET, DATED 1843 - with 105cm round sighted barrel,  bayonet lugg, fullstock with raised cheek piece, flintlock/percussion conversion lock, two barrel bands and pierced end cap of the iron ramrod (not the original).  Some surface discolouration to metal parts, very good barrel interior and action working correctly and strongly.  Various brass parts dated, numerous armourers marks and Imperial Russian Eagle to the butt plate tang. .700 smoothbore. 146cm overall.  Many of these muskets were recovered from the siege of Sevastapol during the Crimea campaigne.
