RARE GIFFARD 8MM RIFLE : MODEL ESPECIALLY FOR HUNTING

PLEASE CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW - RARE GIFFARD 8MM RIFLE : MODEL ESPECIALLY FOR HUNTING - this version of Giffards rifle was manufactured in 8mm smoothbore for taking shot.  It was made in three grades of which this particular example was the best.  With colour case finish, quality woodwork, one standing and one folding leaf sights and quality blued finish. This gun is in very good condition retaining most original finish, has a very good bore and good woodwork (one small crack at the toe).  The action was functioned by a charged CO2 cylinder below the barrel. Rarer in this version that the more common 4.5mm target version with rifled barrel.
