DESIRABLE HENRY DERINGER ‘PEANUT’ POCKET PISTOL .41 CAL

PLEASE CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW - DESIRABLE HENRY DERINGER ‘PEANUT’ POCKET PISTOL - with 2 1/3 inch oval 7 groove rifled barrel with top sighting flat, platinum blade forsight two platinum lines at the breach, raised blade 'v' rear sight, a 'P' within a starburst on the left hand side of the breach,  signed 'DERINGER PHILADELA' on the top flat, foliate engraved back action lock again signed 'DERINGER PHILADELA', walnut full-stock with chequered panels, foliate engraved german silver mounts and butt cap with locket. The bore appearing very little used with deep and sharp rifling and completely without corrosion, the exterior retaining a good proportion of it's original chocolate brown finish, a few light surface dinks and loss of finish, the woodwork without any blemishes of losses and showing very little wear, there is some oxidisation to the hammer, the action functioning perfectly with crisp half and full-cock with strong springs. 5 1/8 inches overall.
